Bosch BMI085 High Performance IMU for AR/VR
Bosch BMI085 IMUs for AR and VR Applications combine the functionalities of a 3-axis, 16-bit accelerometer and a 3-axis, 16-bit gyroscope into a single MEMS inertial measurement unit. The low-drift, low-noise inertial measurement units provide fast and precise head detection movement, significantly reducing lag time and motion sickness. BMI085 IMUs support SPI and I2C digital interfaces for system integration, while offering 1.2 - 3.6V VDDIO voltage range. Users can operate the gyroscope and accelerometers individually or sync the data of each together. These Bosch IMUs feature a noise density less than 120μg/√Hz in a 3.0 x 4.5 x 0.95mm package and can easily be easily swapped out, pin-to-pin, with older BMI055 units. BMI085 IMUs meet all requirements for high performance, consumer-grade VR, AR, and mixed-reality applications.
